The YELLOW GIRAFFE, family owned and operated by Steve and Linda Pilioglos, offers an inviting family style atmosphere to their guests. You can chose from a variety of rooms, which offer full kitchens with two private bedrooms, large doubles with separate fully equipped kitchens, or a private cottage for that special Maine Vacation!

All kitchen units are fully equipped, including coffee makers. Bed linens, kitchen linens, soap, and toilet paper are supplied and towels are changed out daily. ( We do not offer daily maid service ).
All you need to bring with you is your food, personal toiletries, swim suit and flip flops.

Pool side picnic tables and gas grills surround the courtyard for family meals and fun.

The YELLOW GIRAFFE is just an enjoyable few-minute walk to the beach and downtown amusement park. Stroll along the famous Pier, try your luck at games, and snack on our famous
"Pier Fries!"

Additionally, experience fresh Maine Lobster & Steamers. THE YELLOW GIRAFFE  is only minutes away from local eateries, where you can even place an order to take home! While your here though, walk across the street to a wonderful lobster, fruit and vegetable stand that will steam your lobsters for you to eat right here around our pool.

The YELLOW GIRAFFE'S location offers ample opportunity to explore some local and surrounding areas. Travel a mile east to Pine Point and Scarborough, where you can explore the marshes and gather shells. You can head a mile west to Camp Ellis and see a real lobster village in action. Also, only 30 minutes away, visit Portland for shopping, some history and strolling around the "Old Port". The famous Portland head lights as well as Two Lights State Park is only 20 minutes away. Shopping in Freeport is
just 30 minutes away. For the children, Fun Town USA, Aquaboggan and Splash Town are a 10 minute ride.
